In order to prevent potential difficulties, please carefully follow
the instructions below. Remember your translation will soon be available to all
ISSA offices, so it must be accurate.
• Step 1: Download the File
Please download the desired title from the list on this page.
(Microsoft Word is required.)
• Step 2: Perform the translation
Each MS Word file is in English. You will be translating the text
one line at a time. Below each line of English
text there is a blank line marked 'Translation:'. Insert your translated text
here. Do not disturb the English text, as this will serve as our translation guide.
• Step 3: Save Your File
Your file will
contain both the English and translated text.
Perform a 'Save As' to save the new file you have created.
Please save as a Microsoft Word document (.doc). (Other Save formats
such as text files (.txt), may result in a loss of formatting.)
When naming your file, please
indicate the book number and the language. (For example, the Russian
version of "Andy's Cherry Tree" would be named '1001rus.doc').
• Step 4: Submit Your File
Please mail your file to our offices.
You will hear back from us when the translation is ready.
• Step 5: Final Proof Reading
After we have produced your translation into PDF format
you will be contacted to perform a final proof reading of the title. After any
last changes and corrections
are made, the book will be added to the site, available for everyone to download!
