Translation
Since all Step by Step offices are receiving the benefits of the Reading Room
project without cost to them, it is expected that each Step by Step office will
translate ALL books on the website into their own language, soon after they are
posted on the website in English.
There will be no payment given from the Reading Room for translations. This is
considered the local Step by Step office's contribution to the success and wide
availability of the books.
It is very important to have all books available in all languages because of
nationalities and ethnic groups living outside established borders (Hungarians in
Romania, Russians in Estonia, Roma populations in several countries, etc.)
Therefore, even if you do not plan to use or distribute any particular title
immediately, the translated text in your language should still be made available as
soon as possible.
What are the translation guidelines?
For translation guidelines, browse to the book you like to translate and click the Translate link.
